Hugh "Huey" Morgan (b. 8 August 1968 in New York City as Hugh Thomas Ãngel Munger DÃaz Morgan) is the frontman of the British-based, of New York origin, rock/hip hop group Fun Lovin'' Criminals. He is a guitarist and applies his rock abilities in combination with hip hop music, jazz, rock music, reggae, and funk. Morgan is half-Puerto Rican and half-Irish. In his youth he got into trouble with the law. A judge finally gave him the choice between going to jail or joining the Marines. He chose to join the Marines. This is mentioned in the song "The Grave And The Constant. In 1993, Morgan formed the Fun Lovin'' Criminals with Brian Leiser and Steve Borgovini. Huey wrote a regular wine column for the British magazine Mondo from 1999 to 2000. On TV, Morgan has appeared on the UK comedy music quiz show Never Mind The Buzzcocks, twice as a guest panelist and once as a presenter. He also participated in the BBC''s The Underdog Show, where eight celebrities trained and rehabilitated rescued dogs. He currently hosts ''Slips'' on the music channel VIVA.
