What people are saying about Animals As Leaders
Rated 5 out of 5 by AJSaunders from Literally the best indoor gig of my year! I wasn't quite sure what to expect as it was my first time seeing a group of instrumental bands but I was incredibly impressed, musical wizards!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jake1998 from The best gig I have ever been to To start off, the support band Intervals and Troy Wright were absolutely amazing. Animals as leaders were incredible, I had the time of my life!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lexz from Intervals were fantastic What a treat this gig turned out to be. Small venue with incredibly good bands. Intervals, the support band was tremendous. Tunes were melodic through to rock'n and wow are they something to see. The level of musicianship was as high as it gets. The band was actually pretty cool too, friendly and funny, banter and all round nice guys. Seriously, such a surprise to see a band with such a great attitude, a real treat. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone out there. They are what a band should be. After that, Animals as Leaders were OK, I suppose. They were way too loud for a venue of that size and it really stopped me from enjoying their set. I have good quality ear plugs and they were largely rendered useless. I left have way through their set as a result. The last gig I went too that I left because it was painful was about 5 years ago. I go to loads of gigs and I rarely complain about volume so, seriously, way too loud. Great crowd in Leeds too. No trouble and everyone looked to be having a great time. It was my first time too The Keys nightclub. Great Venue! Overall, even with my volume winging, I have to give this gig full marks. One of the best gigs I have been too in years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by bottleneck from terrible sound from a mediocre PA system. What is the point of seeing cutting edge progressive metal live? If it's to hear the complex rhythm and lead work, you'd have been dissapointed at Sub89. The poor EQ from the desk gave such a bass-heavy mix you couldn't hear anything except the vague tune playing. Incidentally, from anything except the front, all you can see is the bands head and shoulders. So, in summary - If you like indistinguishable sound, and to see an artists head and shoulders move around - this would be perfect for you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dr Bonzo from Animals As Leaders + Arron Marshall & Plini Gets 3 stars as Arron Marshal + Plini both sounded good + were on it in terms hitting right notes etc but AAS were poor, sounded like they were playing during a practice jam tbh + kick drum was also so loud it masked everything else not allowing u to hear the intricacies/nuance's of the music. Lighting was poor as someone had overdone the smoke machine so it was hard seeing them. Underwhelming in a word.

Rated 5 out of 5 by shay from first time watching animals as leaders and first time at the cathouse i went to this event by myself for the meet and great not only were the band super friendly so were the staff and the audience as a whole for a medium sized venue people really accommodated to the fact i am a girl and shorter so were willing to let me stand beside the barricade it was such a legendary experience and i cannot find a fault with event as a whole

Rated 5 out of 5 by The YT from Great One of the best gigs I've been to in a while. The buying process was easy too. Would be better if I didn't have to print anything though.
