Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reggae Brilliance I was standing at the front of the stage and in the centre. I shoke his hand 5 times! He was dressed in a Leeds RLFC tracksuit, I shouted out you"re Leeds man and he replied its all for you! It was my 50th birthday and I'm now lving the dream!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lee Perry Live (briefly) I was very exited to experience Lee Scratch Perry perform live on stage - the way it was built up i was expecting a night of reggae and dub with the legend at the heart of preceedings. I arrived at 7 when the doors opened and enjoyed the two mc's and the resonators were alright but keoko or kiora or whatever went on for ages!! and they were not up to scratch pun intended. So over 3 hours later the legend arrives and all is wicked great band and the man was on great form untill about 7 songs when he sneaked away unnoticed?? and that was it. I forgive the man of course i just wish i could seen him for longer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upsetting the Duke, Whitstable town Here was an opportunity not to be missed - 200 tickets available selling out instantly ... Lee Scratch Perry's fascinating journey from deepest rural Jamaica through the vibrant bustle of 1950's Kingston, the birth of ska and the golden age of 1970's reggae and way, way beyond is the stuff of legend. So, when he raises his glass and sings to us all 'drink champagne and feel no pain' what better excuse than to celebrate with wild abandon a truly unique moment in this one horse town ... whilst his tight Caribbean band of Upsetting sessioners nailed the vibes for sale ... marvellous !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from what a night a fantastic night. as soon as lee scratch perry hit the stage he was on fire, every one went wild in the crowd reacting to lee. smoking for first time in years he egged the crowd also every one blazing and dancing. what a vibe. and to finnish my night perfectly the mad professor shredded dub raw from kunta kinte to warrior, sister audrey on fire with twikle bro's jahovia. in my estimation one of the best night for a long time
