What people are saying about The Cribs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Cribs @ Albert Hall This was my umpteenth times seeing The Cribs live and as on every previous occasion they more than lived up to my expectations. From the opening bars of Ancient History to the elongated no encore set closer Pink Snow from this year's For All My Sisters CD, the whole floor was a seething mass of over 2000 joyous souls there to experience the power and majesty that is The Cribs live. There was something for everyone: from sing-along crowd pleasers (Mirror Kissers / Our Bovine Public) to a semi acoustic Shoot The Poets. There was no space in the set list for Another Number which may have disappointed some people - but not me. Over 20 songs for less than £20 with the added bonus of a brief Pulled Apart By Horses support act set too, come on people, do nights out get any better than this?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An unforgettable evening The Cribs are one of my favourite bands of all time and very important to me so I knew as soon as they announced their tour that this was going to be a very special night indeed. My friend and I, out of excitement, arrived at the venue very early so we'd get a good space at the barrier. The support bands were both incredible, especially the second support act; The Wytches, who I'm also very fond of. The anticipation grew as the night went on, I could feel the atmosphere around me change as the excitement grew. As soon as The Cribs stepped on stage a wave of applause and cheering occurred like I'd never heard before. People around me were grabbing their friends in disbelief because this is a band that meant so much to them. I could relate very well. The Cribs surprised the crowd with numbers like You're Gonna Lose Us and We Were Aborted. I never imagined I'd get the chance to witness these songs live but they were everything I expected them to be. The Cribs have proved time and time again why they are one of the best bands around and I love them for it. An incredible, unforgettable night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cribs rocked The Kasbah! You do not get better than a small intimate warm-up gig by Wakefield band The Cribs. At festivals they will play the crowd-pleasers, but at their own concert they always throw in some rarely outed songs from their 6 album history. They did not disappoint in Coventry where the set included Back To The Bolthole, Hello? Oh ..., Baby Don't Sweat and The New Fellas. Great little venue, fantastic gig!!
