Post War Years (Simon, Henry, Tom and Fred) coalesced in Leamington Spa in 2008, but came to prevalence at the height of math-rock in 2009 with the release of their left-field debut, ‘The Greats and the Happenings’, which Rough Trade hailed as “one of the most interesting and innovative debuts to be released this year.” Since their debut, the band have left their basement studio and begun work with producer and award winning remixer James Rutledge (MGMT, Grizzly Bear, Late of The Pier, My Bloody Valentine, The Kills) on their second album due for release in 2012.
After destroying every show put in front of them, playing coveted support slots for the likes of Mercury nominees Everything Everything and playing at the famous Maida Vale studios for BBC Radio 6, Post War Years are being hailed as ones to watch for 2012!
