Guy Gerber

Guy Gerber (born in Holon, a suburb of Tel Aviv) is an electronic DJ/producer and musician who specializes in making music with synthesizers and live instrumentation in the techno scene and beyond. Gerber regularly DJs across the globe at events in Detroit, Berlin, Ibiza and the UK. At the age of 15, Gerber was a member of the Israeli Under-16 national football team but soon developed the passion for music and found himself drawn to English guitar acts like Joy Division and My Bloody Valentine. Consequently, his harmonic, shoe-gaze inspired sound was a style that saw Gerber record for various European electronic labels including Ô[][]Stoppage TimeÔ[][] for John DigweedÔ[][]s Bedrock imprint. GerberÔ[][]s first full length album Ô[][]Late BloomersÔ[][] was released on Sven V├ñthÔ[][]s Cocoon imprint in June 2007 and featured two worldwide club hits in Ô[][]Belly DancingÔ[][] and Ô[][]Sea Of SandÔ[][] which he recorded with his Israeli production friend Shlomi Aber. In addition to his productions, Guy also found time to remix New Order and Dominik Eulberg as well as setting up his own label Supplement Facts. More recently, heÔ[][]s remixed Ô[][]The L WordÔ[][] by Deniz Kurtel and Ô[][]Hungry For The PowerÔ[][] by Azari & III.
