The Festival is a day-long celebration of wine. Your entry ticket includes wine tasting samples from the 200 high quality wines being poured as you walk around meeting some of the UK's top wine retailers, importers and the winemakers themselves.

The Edinburgh Festival is for wine lovers from novice to expert. Admission tickets include all tasting samples. Meet winemakers and the UK's best retailers and importers. NOTE: a festival admission ticket is required to attend any masterclass session.

A journey through Chenin Blanc with Ken Forrester, 12:30pm - 1:15pm. We are thrilled that South African wine legend Ken is joining us to present this tasting comparing his own top Chenin Blanc wines with the best Chenins from the variety's spiritual home, the Loire Valley in France.
2:00PM - MASTERCLASS 2 £10.00 (£10.00) Transaction fee applicable *
Does decanting make a difference?, 2:00pm - 2:45pm. Arguments rage over whether decanting a wine to let it 'breathe' is myth or magic. From aged Barolo to Bordeaux classics, The Wine Society will draw on its significant fine wine reserves to let you decide in this taste test.

Heaven or Hell? Cheese and wine matching, 3:30pm - 4:15pm. Selecting fine and unusual wines from the superb portfolio of Rude Wines, Tom Cannavan will lead a tasting of four cheeses, each paired to two contrasting wines. The rules of cheese and wine matching - and how to break them.

The Festival is the brought to you by Tom Cannavan, award-winning wine writer, broadcaster, and proud citizen of Scotland's largest city.  Tom's pioneering wine-pages.com is one of the world's most popular wine sites, though you may know him best from his long-running slot on STV's 'The Hour', or his broadcasts on BBC Radio.  Read more about Tom.

The Festival is a day-long celebration of wine. Your entry ticket includes tasting samples from the 200 high quality wines being poured as you walk around meeting some of the UK's top wine retailers, importers and the winemakers themselves.  There is also an optional programme of tutored 'masterclass' sessions, there will be some foodie nibbles on offer, and there's a fun blind tasting competition to win a bottle of Champagne. The Festival is open from noon until 5pm, with re-entry via the Festival wristband.
