Rock City is based in Nottingham City Centre, with a capacity of 2000, and is known for its intimate atmosphere. The club features four bars spread across two rooms; the Main hall and the Basement, both of which are all-standing during gigs, with an additional room previously known as The Rig operating separately since September 2011 as the Black Cherry Lounge. Rock City plays host to various sized gigs, from smaller upcoming bands of the underground and local scene, to bands that are getting chart success.
The nearest station is Nottingham Station, Carrington Road, NG2 3AQ. To reach Rock City from the train station it is approximately 15-20 minutes walk. Head right out of the station and walk towards the Broadmarsh Centre. Continue straight up Listergate, onto Albert street and across the Market Square. Cross the Square to Market Street and head up towards the Royal Concert Hall. Rock City is towards the back of the Concert Hall on Talbot Street.
The following routes stop outside Rock City: 78, 79, 80, 35, 36. The nearest bus station is Victoria Centre.

18-year-old Internet sensation Gabrielle Aplin will embark on a headline UK-wide tour next March, taking her mesmerising voice across the length and breadth of the country for 10 hotly anticipated shows.
It kicks off at Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach on February 29th before moving through Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow and a host of other cities.
Gabrielle is no stranger to gigging. Having already played to sold-out audiences on three headline UK tours, she appeared at several festivals across the summer, including Glastonbury and Secret Garden Party, and recently supported Charlie Simpson and Matt Cardle, on their respective UK tours.
This tour will see her playing several tracks from her ‘Acoustic’ and ‘Never Fade’ EPs – the latter having peaked at No.14 in the iTunes UK Albums Chart – as well as debuting songs from her forthcoming ‘Home’ EP.
A self-taught, multi-instrumentalist, Gabrielle confidently moves from piano and guitar to percussion with the skill of an experienced musician and has already garnered quite the online following.
