The Festival is a day-long celebration of wine. Your entry ticket includes wine tasting samples from the 350 high quality wines being poured as you walk around meeting some of the UK's top wine retailers, importers and the winemakers themselves.

Piper-Heidsieck Rare - a Champagne-lover's dream, 12:30pm - 1:15pm 'Rare' is truly rare, an ultra-premium Champagne created by the legendary Regis Camus, and with only eight vintages produced in 40 years. Renowned Champagne expert Simon Stockton will take us through three vintages in depth: the 2002, the 1998 in magnum and the 1988. This unique opportunity is unlikely to ever be repeated

The wines of Quinta do Noval, including Naçional, 2:00pm - 2:45pm Global ambassador for Noval, Ana Carvalho, will present this range of the award-winning Ports from the iconic producer Quinta do Noval, featuring the acclaimed single estate Late Bottled Vintages, rare tawny Colheitas, and classic Vintage Ports including the truly unique Naçional, made from ungrafted vines and selling for £600 per bottle.

Off the beaten track: wine travels through less familiar France, 3:30pm - 4:15pm. Provence, Corsica, Jura and Savoie: just some of the less familiar names that will feature in a session sponsored by The Wine Society, the International Wine Challenge's Regional French merchant of the year. This session will offer some real surprises and some superb wines from local grape varieties as we raid The Wine Society's extensive cellars.

The Festival is a day-long celebration of wine. Your entry ticket includes tasting samples from the 200 high quality wines being poured as you walk around meeting some of the UK's top wine retailers, importers and the winemakers themselves.  There is also an optional programme of tutored 'masterclass' sessions, there will be some foodie nibbles on offer, and there's a fun blind tasting competition to win a bottle of Champagne. The Festival is open from noon until 5pm, with re-entry via the Festival wristband.
