Panic Room are fronted by the soaring voice and magnetic stage-presence of Anne-Marie Helder - winner of 'Best Female Vocalist' 2012 + 2011 in 'Prog' magazine's Readers Poll - and are famed for their phenomenal live shows, awe-inspiring musicianship, and for writing some of the most memorable songs you could ever hope to hear. After several killer
shows here at the Robin, the band make a welcome return to their favourite venue and will make it a 'Rockin' Robin' for this special show!

Having signed to 'Esoteric Antenna' in 2012 (part of Cherry Red Records) the band released their 3rd album 'S K I N' - and it was quickly hailed as a 'masterpiece' by the international music press. With its haunting, soul-stirring themes adding to the band's characteristic power and passion, Panic Room had created something truly breathtaking.
In September 2012 Panic Room were nominated for 'Anthem of the Year' at the inaugural Progressive Music Awards, and attended a rock-star-studded ceremony at London's Kew Gardens. Alongside some of the biggest names in the music world, the band were honoured to be featured in this Award for their track 'Song For Tomorrow' (which opens the new album).

With a genre-free approach to their songwriting and performance, Panic Room are proud to be musical 'free spirits'. This freedom means that they often experiment with different styles and vibes of music, and to great success. It also brings the band a huge and loyal fanbase from around the globe, who delight in the fact that Panic Room sound so utterly unique.

It might contain elements of rock, funk, pop, prog, folk & roots, and even world music... But essentially, Panic Room only sound like Panic Room.

And what shines through the brightest is always the Song - the melody, the lyrics, and the groove.
