Now in it's third year, Platform Festival takes place in the historic Old Station building, located in the heart of the picturesque market town of Pocklington. With three stages, two bars stocked with a fantastic range of craft ales, lagers, wines and spirits plus award-winning catering facilities, the event has already gained a nationwide reputation. The line-up features:

Scottish born and Los Angeles based singer-songwriter KT first came to prominence following her acclaimed performance of Black Horse and the Cherry Tree on Later... with Jools Holland. Her debut album Eye to the Telescope, featuring the world-wide hit single 'Suddenly I See' was released in 2004 and soon after she won a BRIT Award, an Ivor Novello Award and earned Grammy and Mercury Prize nominations. In autumn 2016 KT released her new album 'Kin' which she sees in spirit as the follow-up to her classic debut.

Record breakers and chart toppers Ward Thomas return to Pocklington having sold-out PAC in a joint headline show with The Shires in 2014. 22 year old twins Catherine and Lizzy made history with their stunning major label debut album 'Cartwheels', when it reached the top spot in the U.K. Album charts, by becoming the first ever UK country act to achieve the feat. On top of that extraordinary achievement, the album stayed in the top five for three weeks: a rare accomplishment.

Revered singer-songwriter & guitarist Newton Faulkner first entered our world in 2007, when his debut album Hand Built By Robots topped the albums chart and was certified double platinum in the United Kingdom. It was promoted by three singles, "Dream Catch Me", "I Need Something" and "Teardrop". Faulkner's second studio album, Rebuilt by Humans, was released in 2009 & charted at number 3 on the UK Albums Chart. He has released three further albums, toured extensively and gained an army of fans.

Benjamin is a singer-songwriter whose melancholic brand of acoustic folk-pop has drawn comparisons with the likes of Jose Gonzalez and Iron & Wine. After recording his first EP, A Million Miles Out, he supported I Am Kloot and Fionn Regan on tour and attracted attention for his cover version of Arcade Fire’s “Rebellion” on Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio 2 show. In 2011, his first single, “Pictures”, taken from his second EP of the same name, was declared “The Hottest Record in the World Today” by influential R1 DJ Zane Lowe. In 2016, Leftwich delivered his acclaimed sophomore studio album, After the Rain, featuring the single “Tilikum”.

The renowned Bella Union (Home of Fleet Foxes, Beach House & more) label have recently signed Holly Macve, with her highly anticipated debut album 'Golden Eagle' released in March. In only a short period of time she has supported Villagers & John Grant on their UK tours, performed at SXSW in Austin, recorded a BBC Radio 2 session & been compared to the likes of Lucinda Williams and Lana Del Rey.

Stillhouse, Buffalo Skinners, The Grand Old Ukes of York, Beth McCarthy, Bramble Napskins, Rachel Croft and Forgotten Voices Community Choir.
