The Big Feastival
Alex James' Farm, The Cotswolds.
The summer's top music, food and family festival, The Big Feastival, is back on Alex James' Farm with a jam-packed festival line-up for the August Bank Holiday weekend!
Throw on your dancing shoes to some incredible musical talent, including "Waiting All Night" superstar Ella Eyre, electronica legends Faithless (DJ Set), West Yorkshire rockers Embrace, jungle legend Congo Natty and longstanding ska favourites The Skatalites.
Haçienda Classical will be getting the weekend off to an electrifying start with nostalgic dance songs accompanied by a full classical orchestra plus special guests. Pop favourite Olly Murs tops the Saturday night bill with his chart-topping hits, and the festival will come to an epic close with British giants Madness on the Sunday. The weekend will also feature De La Soul, Louisa Johnson, Gentleman's Dub Club, Dodgy, Cuban Brothers, Norman Jay MBE and many more.
If that wasn't enough, Jamie Oliver, Jasmine Hemsley and Tim Siadatan join the cohort of culinary kings and queens already confirmed such as; Nathan Outlaw, Antonio Carluccio, Candice Brown, Gizzi Erskine, Gennaro Contaldo, Romy Gill and David Bez and Rick & Jack Stein, to teach festival-goers their favourite tricks and divulge their recipe secrets as they create divine dishes live on stage across the weekend.
For those who are keen to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in, the NEFF Cookaholics Cookery School offers a hands-on experience where visitors learn how to get creative in the kitchen, and the launch of the NEFF Skillery will help you discover essential new culinary skills and techniques. What's more, the NEFF Little Kitchen, led by TV baking favourites Tom and Henry Herbert, provides interactive cookery classes to encourage budding young chefs to try something new. Little ones will be entertained by Children's TV Megastar Justin Fletcher, the legendary Dick and Dom, have the chance to meet Marshall from Paw Patrol and the return of Little Dude's Den will guarantee to put a smile on everyone's face.
The best of British will be on show over on the Village Green, where you can take part in a good old knees-up with Morris dancing or soak up the deliciously intoxicating poetry from renowned poets in the Poetry on Tap section. Or, if you fancy trying something even quirkier this August, why not take part in a Ukulele Workshop or a Laughing Yoga session to start the day in Tom Fool's Tree House?
With all of this excitement and so much more, this is one summer party you won't want to miss.
