"If you're going to sing something, it might as well be something important," reflects The Black Angels' Alex Maas.

That ethos is the pulsing heartbeat of 'Death Song,' the Austin neo-psych rockers' first new album in four years and their most fully realized work to date. Written well before the vitriolic election cycle and the uncertainty left in its wake, these songs now form an uncanny soundtrack to our modern American climate of division and anxiety, wrapping up the personal and the political into dense layers of provocative insight. Part protest, part emotional catharsis, this is a troubled record for troubled times, and in that sense, it's classic Black Angels.

Venue Information

The Forum takes the needs of disabled customers very seriously and actively
encourages people of all abilities to attend the events scheduled at the Venue.
Though built in the 1930s, the building has been modernized to allow Wheelchair
access via front of house to the Disabled platform in Downstairs Standing area
(please note there is no direct backstage disabled access).

Due to Licensing and Health & Safety Assessments, we regret the number of
wheelchairs that we can admit to the building is limited. In order to ensure
that all disabled patrons to the HMV Forum are adequately catered for, we
request that all disabled customers contact the venue at
access@o2forumkentishtown.co.uk or telephone on 020 33624140 prior to booking.

However, if you feel there is a show that will sell out very quickly then we
advise patrons to go ahead and buy their ticket first to avoid disappointment.
You will need to email us immediately to let us know you have purchased a
ticket and inform us of your disability. As mentioned above we regret the
number of wheelchairs that we can admit to the building is limited and
therefore we must treat these patrons on a first come first served basis. In
the unlikely event that the disabled area is full by the time we receive your
email then we would inform you of this and a refund would be given.
