Touring their new album (release date 5th October) ‘Army Of Three’, Virgil & The Accelerators [VATA] bring their jaw dropping live show to a long overdue Manchester headline gig. This new album follows their critically acclaimed 2011 debut album ‘The Radium’, which gained many 5 star reviews and notable placements in Classic Rock and Blues Rock Review magazines ‘Best Of’ features.

Virgil’s fretboard skills are revered by his peers and and deservedly won him the title of ‘Best Guitarist 2013’ in The European Blues Awards. Yet he is the first to point out that VATA are a band and it’s not all about the front man:

“We are band, a band of brothers and this is our strength”

Brother Gabriel on drums is an exciting visual spectacle, driving the band through its incredible live set. Jack Alexander Timmis on bass holds the reins at the very edge of Armageddon. Together they provide an apparently telepathic platform for Virgil to unleash his blasting fretboard skills. A band of brothers and an ‘Army Of Three.’

VATA have been working relentlessly over the last few years. Touring Europe in their own right and with such legends as Michael Schenker, Uriah Heep, Johnny Winter and Wilko Johnson has ensured to a dedicated and growing fan base. Do not miss the opportunity to witness this incredible power trio live.
