Yngwie Malmsteen

World On Fire Tour 2017

"Yngwie Johann Malmsteen is a world-renowned guitarist from Stockholm, Sweden. As a young boy, Yngwie originally had no interest in music, but that all changed on September 18th, 1970, when he saw a TV special on the late Jimi Hendrix. Seven-year-old Yngwie watched in awe as Hendrix blasted the audience with torrents of feedback and sacrificed his guitar in flames. The day Jimi Hendrix died, the guitar-playing Yngwie was born.

Yngwie Malmsteen's career has spanned over 40 years with over twenty albums to his name. Drawing influence from classical composers such as Bach, Paganini, and Vivaldi, Yngwie is responsible for birthing the neo-classical genre to the world of rock."

Venue Information

The Forum takes the needs of disabled customers very seriously and actively
encourages people of all abilities to attend the events scheduled at the Venue.
Though built in the 1930s, the building has been modernized to allow Wheelchair
access via front of house to the Disabled platform in Downstairs Standing area
(please note there is no direct backstage disabled access).

Due to Licensing and Health & Safety Assessments, we regret the number of
wheelchairs that we can admit to the building is limited. In order to ensure
that all disabled patrons to the HMV Forum are adequately catered for, we
request that all disabled customers contact the venue at
access@o2forumkentishtown.co.uk or telephone on 020 33624140 prior to booking.

However, if you feel there is a show that will sell out very quickly then we
advise patrons to go ahead and buy their ticket first to avoid disappointment.
You will need to email us immediately to let us know you have purchased a
ticket and inform us of your disability. As mentioned above we regret the
number of wheelchairs that we can admit to the building is limited and
therefore we must treat these patrons on a first come first served basis. In
the unlikely event that the disabled area is full by the time we receive your
email then we would inform you of this and a refund would be given.
