This is a fascinating and moving play, written written by Broadway legend and four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein and directed by Luke Sheppard, that looks into the lives of a group of hetrosexual transvestites from the 1950s & 60s.
We spoke to Edward, who plays George/Valentina, about his experience of transforming into a woman live on stage, and found out a little bit more about what makes this show at the Southwark Playhouse extra special.
