The BBC Music Sound of 2017 poll winner has been revealed, and this year soulful R&B artist Ray BLK has taken the top prize over the 15-strong longlist of acts.
Already dubbed “the Lauryn Hill of the UK” and nominated for best newcomer at this year’s MOBO Awards, Ray BLK was crowned this year's first place ahead of Rag'N'Bone Man, who came in second place, and 18-year-old RAYE in third.
