MORE DETAILS ABOUT THIS EVENT
Tangerine Dream is a German electronic music group founded in 1967 by Edgar Froese. Tangerine Dream's early 'Pink Years' albums had a pivotal role in the development of Krautrock. Their 'Virgin Years' and later albums became a defining influence in the genre known as New Age music.
Although the group has released numerous studio and live recordings, a substantial number of their fans were introduced to Tangerine Dream by their film soundtracks.
The band played the Royal Albert Hall In April 1975 for the first time so this will make it their 35th Anniversary in April 2010. They released their first long-play album in 1970 which will also mark their 40th Anniversary in April 2010.
