What people are saying about The Phantom Of The Opera

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly outstanding !!! I have wanted to see this show for so many years ... well 30 to be precise.. This show did not disappoint a fabulous show with the most amazing staging I left in awe of it all and in tears at a beautiful love story. Ben Forster played the phantom with such an incredible stage presence and he has an incredible voice too to match. What an amazing day for me I really am wishing I was somehow there again !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely amazing! The music and the big numbers like masquerade were breathtaking and capturing like nothing else i have seen. Also the cast was fantastic! Overall an amazing and special experience, witch i would recommend to anyone. If you are in a doubt because of the high price, just do it, you will not regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely amazing I went to London last Christmas and I went to Her Majesty´s Theatre to see the show. Playing the role of Monsieur Firmin was Tim Morgan, I don´t know if is the same Tim Morgan I saw playing the role of Bishop of Digne at Les Miserables on April 1997 at the same show the role of Jean Valjean has played by Jeff Leyton, Jeff was the Jean Valjean representing Ireland at Les Miserables 10th Aniversary concert at Royal Albert Hall. It was an unforgetable evening.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than New York version Some years ago I went to Broadway to see The Phantom. At that time I liked a lot, but I enjoyed more the London play. I found very good last minute tickets for me and 4 friends, and every one of us shared the same impressions about the quality of the singers and the stage. A must see event in London in my humble opinion

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, which opened at Her Majesty's Theatre on 9 October 1986 starred Michael Crawford as 'The Phantom' and Sarah Brightman as 'Christine.' It is produced by Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Theatre Company Limited. Far beneath the majesty and splendour of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Andrew Lloyd Webber's mesmerising score magically combines with jaw-dropping scenery and breath-taking special effects to bring this tragic love story to life each night.
