What people are saying about The Wind in the Willows

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An old favourite revisited I went by myself, took my dog! Wonderful, we were made welcome by the families sitting around us. There was a warm atmosphere on a chilly-ish evening, everyone relaxed and enjoying their picnics. The show itself was brilliant, so much energy put into this production, the singing and dancing scintillating! I liked the interaction with the audience, my dog got a mention. The volunteers at the centre were helpful, all in all a great early evening out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely fantastic The show is absolutely stunning. Everithing's so accurate and beautiful: stage, costumes and actors were perfect for their characters! We were 2 families of 4, kids aged 5 (x2) and 7 (x2). They loved it even if for the two youngest ones it was a little long to maintain the concentration. I guess they are on the agr limit. But everyone loved it at the end, it is really amazing!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wind in the Willows Although the show looked good we could not hear very well. The sound system was not big enough for the amount of people in the area. So there were lots of people talking in the end. Those in the front could hear. I personally felt it was more about selling lots of tickets which meant people missed out sharing the experience of what is theatre show and audience participation. I was disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous performance I went to see the show with family and friends and would highly recommend it. My children are aged 5 and 9 and were captivated by the show. The actors were very entertaining playing more than one role. Fantastic entertainment for young and old. I'd highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent show Went to this open air show with family including 4 young children. It was a lovely sunny evening and we took a picnic. The viewing area was separated into blanket and chair areas but the set was also raised so all could have a good view. The show was very energetic with plenty of songs and a good 'panto' atmosphere and jokes for kids and adults. We all loved it, there was plenty of audience participation and the kids could have photos with the cast afterwards. A great experience and good value for money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great show- the kids loved it! Having enjoyed wind in the willows as a child, I was wanted to share the story with my two young boys. The characters were colourful and the show was well put together with an easy to follow, engaging storyline. The boys loved Mr Toad, and his special song.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super show With my three granddaughters aged 5 and 7, and almost retired husband, we attended this production in Langley Park. It was so good and "really. Cool" in the words of one of the 5 year olds. This show was perfectly pitched for the audience and everyone was completely engaged. The sound was great for an open air performance. We all loved it. Thank you so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great evening out for family Went with kids (2 years and 4 years). The kids loved it. Not too noisy, fun singing and audience interaction. Close to car park and playground nearby. It had a few jokes in there too to kept us all laughing.
