On Sunday 17th March, a charity gala of the hugely popular award winning musical 42nd Street will take place at The London Palladium. Produced by Barry Mishon, together with Gloria Hunniford, in aid of The Caron Keating Foundation. 42nd Street was written by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, with lyrics by Al Dubin, and music by Harry Warren. The 1980 Broadway production won the Tony Award for Best Musical and became a long running hit. The show was produced in London in 1984 (winning the Olivier Award for Best Musical) and a 2001 Broadway revival won the Tony for Best Revival. The show features such well-known hits as We're In The Money, I Only Have Eyes For You, Forty Second Street and of course Lullaby of Broadway!
