Alison Balsom And Friends Tickets and Dates

One of Britain's most beloved classical musicians, trumpet-player Alison Balsom, will return to the Royal Albert Hall next year for Alison Balsom and Friends. Alongside works by Purcell and Piazzolla, and extracts from the score to The Globe's Gabriel, the programme features performances of trumpet voluntaries by Vivaldi and Bach with world class organist David Goode on the Royal Albert Hall's 9,999 pipe organ. Plus, a world premiere performance of music for turntables and trumpet by Gabriel Prokofiev. This special one-off show will see the three-time Classic BRIT winner collaborate with some very special guests, including Big Band favourite Guy Barker and Bryn Terfel . Alison made her Hall debut in 1994 as a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, and has since appeared here 16 times, enjoying her first headline show in October 2014. She has played a key role in the Royal Albert Hall's extensive Education & Outreach programme, and will again be sharing her knowledge and expertise with aspiring musicians through a series of innovative events as part of this show.
