Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely Commercial. When I first saw the line up for this festival posted I though it looked ideal. Great bands, in the mountains, a whole new culture to explore! Unfortunately, asides from being in a beautiful location. It was a big let down. The sound on the stages was terrible. Everything sounded flat, it was at times hard to hear the singers voices and the music cut out halfway through Grime's set. I'd say the biggest let down for me was how commercial it was. Everywhere you looked people where wearing hats/merchandise, of some popular soft drink, food or alcohol they where promoting. It felt cheap and over the top. Promoters for the product running round trying to get you to take a picture with their hat on or straddling their giant blow up bottle. It was ridiculous. The food I had there was average at best, usually festival food is bountiful in quality and amounts. Here, there was a very limited choice. There wasn't much alcohol choice unless you liked the big brands. Prices where of course usual for a festival. It would have been nice to see something of the local culture in there. perhaps some food, clothing or jewellery stalls. There was a lot of empty space that I felt could have been made use of, to make the experience more interesting. Worst of all though, there was NO WATER POINTS. At a festival in Spain! You couldn't even bring in sealed bottles of water, or even an empty water bottle to fill up inside! Absolutely ridiculous. I wont be coming back to this festival. The city was beautiful to explore though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my first festival I bought a ticket purely because mumford and sons were headlining. Had never been to Bilbao yet within an hour knew I would go back. First festival experience and cant praise the organisation enough. Regular bus service from and to site, drink food tee/shirts reasonably priced, very little queing, loads of portaloos and or trees. Cant comment on camping facilities stayed in hotel ( too old). In short already got ticket for 2016 before lineup even announced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A really great and easy festival to enjoy Things that are great about Bilboa: - Great vibe:Everyone is there to enjoy themselves and the music... and the music was brilliant. - It's a smaller festival, but loud and proud! It's mainly for the locals but with a few internationals spread around - The variety of music was great - Easy access to the city centre and a late start so you can enjoy your day and party at night. Not so great: - food and drink choices were a little restrictive

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great festival! I went with my girlfriend and it was one of the first festivals i've been to and it's been fantastic! V well organised, many great acts and best of all virtually no clashing between the two main stages. Lots of food options (although quality so and so), and drink prices not extortionate for a festival. Also really good electronic dance area. If possible I would love to return next year!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much more culture, but less intense than British festivals! Free buses from the campsite to the city all day each day mean you can explore the city which has a great deal of culture - the Guggenheim, an impressive Football Stadium and a beach are all within walking distance of the bus station, we also went (accidentally) hiking one day. Festival is at the top of a hill, campsite overlooks the mountains and is unrealistically clean and tidy, there are picnic benches and clean toilets, free showers or the option of using 'posh' bathrooms for only a euro. The only downsides of the entire festival was that the atmosphere is less intense than in the UK as bands don't start until the evening and you catch a bus to the arena rather than having it right infront of you, and also that the music goes on until 6/7am every night (which one could argue makes the festival more intense than in the UK!) which makes it difficult to see all of the bands you'd like to if like us, you walk all through the city every day and wear yourself out by 1am
