What people are saying about Billy Joel
Rated 4 out of 5 by chefpabs from Fantastic performance, but slight let down by poor audio The show it self was brilliant. Billy interacted with the crowd, played big hits and some lesser known songs, but had great energy and fun from start to finish. The only slight disappointment, were the audio/acoustics. We were sat in the lower tier, about half way along the pitch. At time when he was talking and sometimes playing, there seemed a slight delay in the sound coming from the speaker to our left (by the stage) and the one towards our right. Am sure we're not the only people to think this, but we still had a great time. Have been to Wembley a few times now and it's the first time we're noticed this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LizzyW from Fabulous event My third time at Wembley stadium for a concert. Very well organised, minimal queueing to get in, pre admission searches carried out efficiently with minimum fuss. Helpful stewards. Drinks inside expensive as in all stadia. Also long queues at bars, food outlets and toilets but reasonably fast moving. Concert excellent, good view despite being quite far away in less expensive seats.. Lighting stunning. Only downside was there was some echo affecting the sound quality. However this didn't spoil the show, it was just a bit distracting at times. All in all it was a brilliant event and I'd definitely go to Wembley again .

Rated 5 out of 5 by kela85 from Truly a night to remember with Billy Joel I had waited for many years to get the chance to see Billy Joel live and when I got the email from See Tickets saying that he'd be performing in London I jumped at the chance! The concert was spectacular, and Billy was in fine form. I loved every minute of it and sang along to every word. The atmosphere was jubilant and at times it seemed as all of Wembley were singing along in unison. I could've stayed there the whole night through just dancing and singing along, but sadly it had to end sometime. For me it was probably a once in a lifetime experience and one that I will cherish forever. I'm so glad I got that email a few months back or I may have missed my chance!

Rated 4 out of 5 by JC64 from Billy Joel - Wembley We have always enjoyed the music of Billy Joel and were very excited to have got tickets. The evening on the whole was brilliant. He played to the crowd and even gave the audience choices for which songs they wanted to hear. He performed all the hits and more. My only issue was the seating, we were on level 5 and were so far along that it was impossible to see the stage or the screens. It would have helped if the screens had been angled rather than front facing to have given us a chance! Also, for such an impressive venue, the acoustics were poor and the sound was quite muffled - I have since read similar feedback from people who have been to other concerts at Wembley.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cruella from Billy Joel was amazing, venue less so Second time I've seen Billy Joel, last time was at the NEC, he was amazing as always. He played for 2.5 hours non-stop and was incredible. However, I find that Wembley Stadium is just too big for this kind of show. The only act that I've seen there that I thought filled the stadium was Take That because they put on a whole show. One man on the stage is just too small and too far away. Although we had second price seats, we just couldn't see him. Plus the sound was very 'echoey', we couldn't understand a word he was saying. I would think twice about another concert at Wembley Stadium for these reasons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by peacerules from One off my bucket list And boy, it was so worth it! Over 2 and a half hours of just Billy Joel, hasn't lost his voice one bit, unlike other legends who really should have given it up a long time ago, and his piano playing - just fabulous. One of the best evenings entertainment I have had in a long time. Two things though - why no decent big screens? He was sooooo far away I am waiting for the DVD to be released so I can actually see him, and Wembley - please put up pigeon defences. the seat in front of us was unusable, and the floor covered in pigeon 'droppings'. so avoid section 212, row 15, seat 271! Apart from that just fab!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Toffeeboy60 from The Piano Man's Triumphant Return Wow! What a performance. I saw Billy Joel for the first time almost 40 years ago and have been a fan ever since so to see him again after all those years was fantastic. Now at 67 he made a one off UK appearance at Wembley Stadium on September 10th and sounded as good as he did back in the 70s. He belted out all the hits mixed with a few lesser known album tracks and his voice and piano playing was pitch perfect along with his hugely talented band he pleased a very patriotic audience with songs like Uptown Girl, We Didn't Start The Fire, Just The Way You Are and My Life to name a few.

Rated 3 out of 5 by dancos from Poor start.......got better For the first 3 songs the speakers that were facing our stand weren't on so all we could hear was the echo of the songs around the rest of the stadium. We would have walked out had it persisted but then magically someone plugged the speakers in. Once the sound issues were resolved the rest of the convert was very good. Also we had the most annoying family ever sat behind us who talked all the way through the concert (and then whooped at the end of each song even though they can't have listened to anything). Not much seetickets can do about that though I'm afraid
