Check out Black Submarine, i've seen them twice, strong rhythm section with ethereal soundscapes and melodic vocals. They go from subtle and spacious to heavily driven rock grooves with elements of folk in the mix, fans of Cocteus's, Beth Orton, Funkadelic, Talk Talk and Verve will be at home watching this band. A nice mixture of dark and light, amongst strong hooks and atmospherics, see for yourself, highly recommended.

I saw Black Submarine in Bristol a couple of months ago and was absolutely stunned. Their live show beggars belief, such is the energy generated by the music. Given the calibre of the musicians involved, and the stunning vocals of Amelia Tucker, it's hardly surprising. One band you should NOT miss the opportunity of seeing.

Arguably the best sonic journey you will go on. With musicians that are way on top and above their prospective games! This is one gig you will kick yourself if missed. I work in events so see bands week in and week out.. Black Submarine are just that little bit different, producing & playing the music of all our futures !

Looking forward to seeing Black Submarine at The Electric Circus in Edinburgh in October. I have been a fan of Nick an Simon since I was about 11 years old so a chance to see them in a venue like Electric Circus is a big thing for me.

At 32 I thought I was too grown up to get good old teenager-excitement over a band- not so. New Shores is an absolute masterpiece created by exceptional musicians who have also proven to be genuinely nice and helpful people in their fan interactions, they deserve to be heard. If you're familiar with Nick McCabe and Simon Jones at 20 then consider what 20 years experience will bring... Black Submarine live is a bucket list item for me!

If you know anything about Nick McCabe and Simon Jones' back catalogue you should get yourself down to see Black Submarine. I saw them st KCLSU in 2012 and again at Manchester Deaf Institute and Wiltons Music Hall earlier this year. Stunning shows.

If Black Submarine are in your area take the opportunity to see them. I saw them at Wilton's Music Hall back in February and they were in superb form. Lots of swirling guitar and thumping bass. The closing extended version of "Here So Rain" was stunning.

They are indeed an incredible band. Had the chance to see them live, in rehearsal and direct one of their videos. Now can't wait for the tour in October. Black Submarine

My new favorite band, with some of the most talented musicians from the last 20 years! Nick McCabe is a genius. Do yourself a favor and go see them if you can!
