What people are saying about BLANCK MASS

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Oh Lordy This was such a let down from a previous gig by the F Buttons and the Blanck Mass albums. It was soooo loud .. it was inceccent pounding and only really took off in two or three places.. The light show started off being good but quickly became boring with endlessly repetitive images that seemed stuck for the idea of where to progress to or what to do next (much like the music)...I couldn't see this going anywhere musically and left before the end... something I can't recall ever having done before

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mindblowing intensity I was really looking forward to seeing Blanck Mass after experiencing Benjamin in his previous guise of F*ck Buttons, and he didn't disappoint. The onslaught was intense from the moment he came onstage right until the end, a face meltingly incredible blast of electronica with mind boggling visual projections to keep you hooked in. We left the Cluny wide eyed and a little stunned, but entirely satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant, punishing, amazing H&ll of a set and loud as h&ll Great watching him work his setup, sound was amazing. Apparently 'profanity' isn't allowed in reviews. For fxxk's sake

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blanck Mass at the CCA Glasgow It was far too loud and I couldnt make out many of the tracks due to the volume.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Blanck canvas Power electronics...switched off reading yet? Benjamin John;s ambitious new album World Eater had the first few floorboards vibrating at the CCA on Friday. The 'very loud music' warnings (as unnecessary as the security escorting anyone caught filming from the event) were for the first rows only. Not content with any one style, Benjamin seems to filter the best PE ever had to offer, then marries his noise with any break beat or drum track he chooses? He pushed buttons, twiddled knobs and ducked from sight for a swig of beer and we kind of danced. We danced as easily as he mixed his tracks but we enjoyed the drama and we enjoyed our evening. Jim.
