What people are saying about Bob Dylan

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dylan always lets you down, live I very much appreciate Dylan's music. However, having seen him at Earl's Court in the 70s and Brixton Academy (true!) in the 90s, I would be reluctant to take any more chances. He comes across as disdainful of his audience, there is no banter at all, and he always chooses the crowd anti-pleasers in his setlist. Tis pity, he could be so great if he had a different attitude.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The times they are a changing ! Bob Dylan's band saved the night as the legend took the stage at the Royal Albert Hall. The unique voice was still there, but the artist was a shadow of his former self. Omitting the songs of my youth, those magical ballads that rocked us in the 60's and 70's left me hanging, but I am eternally grateful to have had the opportunity to see him live in such a grand venue, perhaps too grand for him! I do not believe that there will be another chance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Genius This was my first time going to see Bob Dylan. I was a bit weary of what to expect, as I had heard that he wasn't going to be doing his classic, well known songs, and also that he may have lost the beautiful, husky tone to his voice. The fact that I didn't recognise many songs didn't matter in the end at all. The band were pretty much perfect throughout the night, and little old Bob still had that brilliant tone in his voice. I can now tick off another box that says "See another legend, playing like a legend"

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bob Dylan at the Royal Albert Hall The Concert was a birthday gift for my other half an avid Bob Dylan fan. Bob's performance on the night was centred around his most recent album - 'Shadows in the Night' interspersed with one or two more well known numbers. His rendition of songs and the musicianship of his backing group were of the highest order. Overall the Concert was a superb evenings entertainment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On form Dylan's voice was on form. The band tight. Did a number of songs from the new album. What a crooner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Master at his best! Bob was in fantastic form! His Sinatra covers were sublime, as were the songs from his recent album, Tempest. See him while you can!
