What people are saying about Carousel

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding I went with family to see the show and was apprehensive due to other reviews Those reviews were so wrong - the show was fantastic Alfie and Katherine were amazing but equally as good were the Whole cast Shame it is only on for 4 weeks as this show could run for a long time Finally the theatre was superb and stately Highly recommend

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expensive night out ! We were very much looking forward to this event and hearing the two lead singers only to find once we arrived that Katherine Jenkins was not singing. The cast were all fantastic excellent singing and music but the set design was very minimal and underwhelming leaving the overall experience very one dimensional it was missing the WOW factor. Our tickets were £100 a piece which I paid on the expectation of two well known top names so overall a disappointing evening. Good but not worth the top ticket price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful I adore Carousel and wasn't disappointed, Alfie Boe and Katherine Jenkins were superb. Even though we were right at the back up in the balcony we could see everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 70 years on and still going strong One of my favourite Rogers and Hammerstein shows, good story, some great songs and memorable melodies, superbly delivered by Alfie Boe, Katherine Jenkins, and a very talented supporting cast... and what an orchestra. Took me back 60 years to when I would sit in the orchestra pit and watch my mother leading the orchestra in the very same show
