Booking Period: Until 30 May 2015 Roald Dahl's deliciously dark tale of young Charlie Bucket and the mysterious confectioner Willy Wonka comes to life in a brand new West End musical directed by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes. Featuring ingenious stagecraft, the wonder of the original story that has captivated the world for almost 50 years is now 'a lavish feast of a musical' (The Guardian) at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
A ú1 restoration levy (collected on behalf of the theatre) appears as part of the ticket cost. Age Recommendation: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is recommended for a general audience. As an advisory to adults who might bring young people, the show is suitable for ages 6 and up.
