Ed Gamble is a stand up comedian who began his career writing, performing and co-directing for the Durham Revue in 2004.

2011 saw Ed continue his national tour support of Greg Davies'Firing Cheeseballs At A Dog in addition to tour support for Russell Kane's Manscaping and Chris Addison. He also performed on Dave's One Night Stand. Ed has written for Never Mind The Buzzcocks as well as Mock The Week and Ask Rhod Gilbert.

Ed has appeared on Russell Howard's Good News, performing as both a solo stand up and as part of Peacock and Gamble on series five. Ed Gamble and Ray Peacock are the only acts to make a return appearance on Good News.

For four years, Ed was co-writer and host of the Peacock and Gamble Podcast. Several series of this cult podcast have culminated with special, series finale live audience recordings. The duo also received a Chortle Award Nomination for the Peacock and Gamble Podcast.

Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award 2010 for Best Newcomer nominee, Gareth Richards’ engaging observational comedy and inspired one-liners have made him in an instant favourite on the comedy circuit. He can be heard every Saturday morning from 8am on Frank Skinner’s Absolute Radio Show.

In 2008 he was nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award, and later won a place as part of the Comedy Reserve, the Edinburgh Festival showcase run by the Pleasance. Previously he was a finalist in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2007 competition, and a runner-up in both the final of You Must Be Joking (Newbury Comedy Festival), and the Amused Moose Laugh-Off, held at the Edinburgh festival.

Gareth has previously appeared in the Comedy Zone at the Edinburgh Festival - the fringe’s longest-running and most prestigious stand-up showcase and took his award-nominated show Stand Up Between Songs to the 2010 festival.
