Sorry there are no shows for Haken right now.
Rated 5 out of 5 by CaptainKurt from Haken X tour was a fantastic experience Being in such a cosy venue was fantastic for me, being so close to the stage and being able to chat to members of the bamds when they'd finished their sets made this a really interactive experience for me. I loved every second.

Rated 5 out of 5 by hakenboii from Haken are good at music Haken were, as expected, absolutely awesome to watch live. I was expecting a rowdy crowd, but prog is too complex for people to headbang to, so there was a strange but good vibe where everyone was just standing still and fully appreciating the music. The only thing I would have changed is the mix, which could have been a bit better, I couldn't always hear the keyboard clearly. The setlist was absolutely amazing, they'd taken the best bits of every album and put them together perfectly, clearly with this tour in mind. Also, they played Visions as their encore, crazy stuff

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hopix from The best thing I'll see all year. Wonderful song writing, dynamic, technical, melodic, simplistic, with a wide range of influences, yet retaining its own core sound, Haken are the future of progressive music.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ConcreteLlama from Incredible band to see live I only got into Haken about 4 weeks ago. First heard the Cockroach King and immediately fell in love with their music. Seeing them live was fantastic - they're very tight but still interesting to watch. A lot of the credit there goes to the vocalist who has plenty of stage presence. Most of the stuff was from the new album (it is called Affinitour after all) and I have to say the new album comes across very well live. "1985" was incredibly entertaining live and for me was one of the highlights along with Cockroach King, the Architect and Crystallised (I think that's what they played - I'm still fairly new to the band, I have heard all their stuff but can't remember which song is which from their entire catalogue yet). The main thing that stuck out for me was that seeing them live felt like I was seeing a band that I've loved for years playing all the songs I've wanted them to hear, where in reality I've only known their stuff for a short period of time. Pretty sure I spent the entire gig with a massive grin on my face. I missed the first support act so can't really comment on them but the second support act, "Special Providence", were very good. They're an instrumental band playing proggy stuff with some electronic elements and plenty of jazz fusion type stuff. Admittedly you could use that description to describe Haken (except for the lack of vocalist) but they sound very different - there's a completely different balance to all the elements they pull into their music). Thoroughly enjoyed them and I ended up buying their album. Anyone debating whether to go see Haken, go for it, you won't be disappointed! Unfortunately they've finished the UK portion of their tour (they only did 2 dates over here despite being from London) but you can be sure that next time they play the UK, I'll be there. Hopefully they come down to Southampton some time soon. Hey, Haken, if you're reading this, come down to Southampton! I'll make you a cuppa.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Snowdog from Really good gig at intimate friendly venue Awesome musicianship displayed by the lads from Special Providence and of course Haken. Somewhat spoilt by poor technical support. Couldn't hear Haken's vocal clearly, constant feedback and over dominant bass. Sort it out boys. Despite the techies messing up Haken were awesome professional outfit. They should be huge.
