Highly Suspect Tickets
Rated 3 out of 5 by Batgirl123 from Could have been better First of all I just want to say that I love this band. I think they are pushing boundaries in their sound and in their style. I adore their albums and have become a genuine fan. Despite this I found myself pretty underwhelmed with their performance at St Luke's on Saturday. Too much time was spent messing around, in terms of the band delaying the start of their set, over running and then having to cut their set, meaning that some key songs I would have loved to hear were not played. Much time was also spent focussing on ballads in between the band jamming - while this is good, the show didn't flow particularly well due to all the stopping and starting - i just wasnt blown away like I had expected and wanted to be. The band clearly like to party and want to show that to the audience, but I felt this was at risk of over shadowing and squandering their talent - sorry but baked at 30, famous or not, is not a good look. Maybe it plays well to generation snowflake who were out in force at this gig, but I thought it came across a bit sad. However, a particular highlight was the drum solo - what a talent, on so many levels!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wishy from Great band, unusual venue Fantastic band who don't seem to be very well known in the U.K. but who have already been nominated for Grammys! Beautiful venue in an old church - really tiny! But weird in that there was a 10pm curfew (on a Saturday night!) and a policy of one drink per customer at the bar - so you couldn't buy a round! But the band were superb - excellent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bangingsetsm9 from True rock'n'roll Second time I've seen Highly Suspect this year, and it was absolutely incredible! Possibly the loudest gig I've ever been to, but the deafness is worth it. Highly suspect own every stage they walk on, be it forcing the drummer to down tequila in the middle of a 10 minute drum solo, on stage flair or just sheer musical talent, they have again proved to me why I have been to every London date and why I want to go to all the upcoming ones. Vukovi were an unbelievably good support band, a very energetic performance with great crowd interaction.
