What people are saying about Honeyblood

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb live act - sweet power I've liked honeyblood since hearing Biro by accident on the radio. Hearing them live in a small venue, such power from a two piece, blew me away. One of the best live acts I've seen. Ever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing band, terrible venue. The band were truly outstanding but the venue - a library in a museum - was awful. Good acoustics, but no atmosphere, no bar, and awkward standing space.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gig in a small venue Went to see Honeyblood as i had listened to the first album and liked a lot of it. The economy album is even better and live they are really good. Great vocals compliment tight guitar and drum combination.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another fine night from Honeyblood A very enjoyable night at The Haunt, Brighton. Support act were very good. It was my second time seeing Honeyblood live & they were excellent. Sound in venue was very clear & good view of the stage. Honeyblood & very charming & witty performers with great songs. Early stage curfew of 10.00 p.m. was a bit puzzling, I'm more used to that being 11.00 p.m.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reading Rocked! Honeyblood came to Reading, for what I think was the first time, and they blew everyone away. Supported by 'Tear', who I missed, and 'Doe' who I loved, it was a great night, with both bands that I saw smashing their respective repertoires. Honeyblood have come along way in the last year or so, and they really know how to relate to and engage with their audience, playing a fine set list consisting of both tracks from the latest album as well as songs from the early days. We spent almost as much on merchandise as we did on drink, so I think it is fair to say that we had a great night and we were mightily impressed. See them now before they rule the world.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honeyblood at Sub89 26/04/17 I'd been looking for an excuse to go out and see live music at a local venue for sometime. After viewing some of their videos on tube Honeyblood stood out as an ideal opportunity. They had an attractive combination of subtle melodies and powerful energy within their music that particularly appealed. The venue, although modest in size, is a great place for intimate gigs and viewing bands in all their rawness. A sizeable audience saw support bands Tear and Doe play entertaining and enjoyable rock orientated sets before the headliners appeared. Lead singer Stina Tweeddale and drummer Cat Meyers entered the stage casually looking quite relaxed, appearing to be old hands at playing live despite their youth. They proceeded through their set list softer songs alternating with pulse-racing favourites such as 'Ready for the Magic' and 'Sea Hearts'. They happily engaged fans between songs and whilst tuning guitars, sharing jokes and gently poking fun at the Reading experience. They finished with the rousing, 'Killer Bangs'. All songs were well performed and well received by an enthusiastic audience, definitely a band I would go and see again. Stina and Cat happily joined staff at the merch stall to chat and sign albums (mine included) afterwards which goes a long way to promoting the right image for the band and made it a really enjoyable night out.
