Sorry there are no shows for Idles right now.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kiltman from Hyperbole Alert! Possibly the best band in the world right now (or certainly the UK), Idles are as good live as they are on their recently released and lauded 'Brutalism' album. Visceral, witty, intelligent, boundless energy, righteously angry with hooks you could catch a whale with. Joe Talbot is one of the best frontmen you will ever see but not enough attention is being payed to the other 4 members of the group especially the powerhouse rhythm section of Jon & Dev. Special mention must go to Damian who was depping for Bowen on guitar as the latter was unavoidably unavailable. I suppose I should also mention wild guitar strangler Lee. I am sure that this tour will be the last one before they move on up to significantly larger venues so catch them soon while you can still smell their sweat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Taffster from OMG. Wow. Amazing. Just amazing. I will be seeing these again. To be fair, I wiuld have driven to Preston tonight (the night after) but for a long standing date with an old friend who I could not convince to jump in a car and join me. So we drank beer in Irlam instead. Doubt I'll see a better gig/performance this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by supermagicbus from Idles - New Adelphi - Hull I took my 14 year old daughter to her first ever rock gig. It was a phenomenal experience for both of us. Having been watching live show for more than 30 years this was in the top 10 in terms of intimacy and raw energy. Idles responded to the crowd and gave us a great show. Well Done

Rated 5 out of 5 by ROB11 from How to be reminded 'you've got a pulse'!!! Hard, exciting, fresh, energetic, tight ..... add your own superlative to the front of any of these words and you will describe this IDLES gig. D amn they're good! Every now and then a band comes along that's getting a bit of airplay, has a bit of a buzz about them and you like the tunes you're hearing; so you think, 'Might just go and check these out'. Are they the real deal, can they really deliver? Oh heck (profanity warning!) yes, and some! Even better than I had expected/hoped, totally exceeded where so many others often fall down when they have to do it live. IDLES reminded me that I do still have a pulse and live music can still tweak it! (a bunch of youngsters called Rats eat Rats supporting could be promising as well!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Spondulie from Best Gig for a couple of years easy! ...it's been a long time since we went along to a gig on a Sunday, but it was well worth the banging headache and ringing ears the next day! The band were excellent, they are all big characters, funny and slightly unhinged! They will go along way.. Go see them it's about time we had a bit of punk back in the club's. 10/10
