Ropetackle, Shoreham By Sea
Rated 4 out of 5 by someone from A Delight in the Spoken Word Both Clarke and Garry inspire a delight in spoken word poetry. I'm sure this is helped by their wonderful voices; the way they blend the boundary between speech and song was truly captivating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by G Dog from Johnny Clarke in Reading An amazing performance in an intimate venue. Beer was too pricey but it was one of the best shows I've seen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gringosmith from The Bard still has it! Still good after all these years. One of those performers everyone should witness at least once in their lives!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Graham62 from Marvellous Looking Venue, Dreadful Sound Great to see John Cooper Clarke but the sound system at St Mary in the Castle is simply inadequate unless your directly in front of the stage. As well as JCC I saw the folk harmony band The Unthanks and the old punk rockers, The Damned , there recently. All had exactly the same sound problems, making the vocals muffled and at times completely inaudible and I was in different spots for each.
