What people are saying about Joshua Radin

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Joshua doesn't disappoint.. So a gig in a comedy club... bit of a strange one to start with, doesn't help with the massive "GLEE" behind Joshua, was he going to sing acapella? Well.. almost as this was an acoustic tour, just Joshua and his guitar, he apologises for the lack of drums, and the lack of visits it being six years since he has been to Nottingham.. I have followed Joshua since his music was on Scrubs way back in the day, and note that he has a small, but very loyal fanbase in the UK, for an artist with very little radio play, whose albums always have to be imported it is amazing that there is an audience at all.. but his always intimate shows attract crowd, and it look almost sold out. The show itself was a little different, a lack of the drums adding to the more intimate feel of Joshua's introspective songs, the acoustic setting meant that songs were pulled from his earlier albums that don't normally get an airing, like Vegetable Car.. as well as new songs from his yet unreleased new album (sadly I had hoped he'd bring a few copies for us to buy!) The thing that's great about Joshua is the songs and performance themselves, they connect with you and even if you hadn't heard them before the passion in the delivery will win you over immediately. This show was the nearest I had been to in a good many years, being only 25 miles from my home, I normally have to go to London and get the last train home getting in at 2am.. so maybe Joshua would consider more of these small shows, perhaps once a year... A final comment, I arrived late just before Joshua was on, and not knowing the location of the venue found him outside smoking.. which was a bit bizarre to say the least if I'd known that would happen I would have bought a copy of his first ep which I've had since 2006 to get him to sign.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular, spine chilling and captivating!! Joshua Radin is amongst the best acoustic performers I have seen in a long time and could have listened to his liquid smooth tones all night! He captivates the audience with his voice and guitar solo and engages with the listeners in a very relaxed manner making the event feel exclusive and very personal....thankyou for coming to Wales Josh!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant intimate gig! Great venue for an acoustic show. It's been four years since I last saw Joshua Radin live and he was every bit as good as the 1st time. Great rapport with the crowd, pitch perfect vocals and overall a fantastic show!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An amazing entertaining night with Joshua My first concert with Joshua and I was blown away with his music, charisma and outstanding talent. I love his music and soft voice. He is a natural with the audience, he got us standing up and singing along with him. Such fun. It felt like we had known him for years and we were his friends. I watched the audience take to him with such admiration and interest. He talked to us and shared his life stories that made us feel humble. I wish him every success in his UK tour. xx The venue was good, but the 'Sticky Floors' were noisy when people walked about while the concert was playing. Yours truly Sue

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great gig despite the sticky floors! Joshua Radin is a great artist and he was supported by two singer/songwriters, Sion Russell Jones and Bryony Sier. All good performances, and while I think the Tramshed has potential, leaving the doors open when it's -3'c outside was insane, everyone had to keep their coats and jumpers on and the floors were so sticky that any movement made a loud noise but luckily Joshua Radin saw the funny side! Great performance, great singers, less than stellar venue.
