More Information about KEW THE MUSIC 2014

COMPLETELY NEW SITE FOR THE CONCERTS WITHIN KEW GARDENS.

Temperate House site closes:
The Temperate House closed in August 2013, to allow Kew to undertake a vital five year restoration project, costing ú34.3 million. The project will restore the Temperate House and its surrounding landscape, and convert the adjoining Evolution House into a world-class public engagement centre.
Therefore for the first time in the history of the Kew the Music concerts they will not take place with the backdrop of the Temperate House.

The new site is the Great Lawn opposite Kew Palace.
There are improved sight lines of the stage.
There is only 1 reserved enclosure rather than the 2 of previous years.
There will be a specially built raised platform disabled area (limited to 1 carer per disabled person).

TICKET INFORMATION
You can still book for the reserved enclosure (see arena map). There will be a limited number of tickets for the reserved area, where you can picnic in the front section of the arena - perfect for those not able to arrive in time to gain entry at the beginning of the evening. Please note seating is on a first come first served basis and no chairs, rugs, tables or picnics will be provided.
Child price 1-16 (inclusive)
Under 12 months free entry and no ticket required.
Disabled tickets: Disabled Ticket holders are entitled to one free ticket for an essential carer/companion to accompany them to the concert. To qualify you need to meet one/both of the following conditions:

All shows are switched to print at home 4 days before the event so no orders will be posted after this time. As there is no collection point, they will all be print at home.
There is nowhere on site to leave tickets
Tickets can be purchased on the internet until 2.30pm on the day of a concert, after which time if there are still tickets available - Kew Gates (Elizabeth & Victoria Gates) and on the door in the evening (Victoria Gate). However the concerts do sell out in advance.
Kew and See Tickets are unable to offer refunds/duplicates on unwanted/lost tickets.
Inevitably bad weather can affect any open-air event. Any decision to cancel the concert will be taken at the advertised starting time. No refund will be given if a concert is started but later abandoned.
Tickets will only be refunded if the event is cancelled by the organiser and as long as the ticket is returned within 28 days of the due concert date. The booking fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
