What people are saying about Lonely The Brave
Rated 5 out of 5 by DJE1965 from Great band, great venue... I discovered this band some time ago and have seen them several times. The venue was perfect but the vocals needed ramping up a bit to get the full impact. Apart from that the boys delivered a great set with the highlight of 'The Blue, The Green' for me. These guys are a real force in the music scene and deserve credit for their ability to be somewhat unique in a field where similarity reigns. David Jakes reallly delivers with a gritty yet vulnerable quality that makes you believe every word. Musically the band are very tight and deliver a surging and swirling backdrop to complete their well crafted songs. Great gig, great band, excellent value...top night!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Scotty700 from A great night out!!! When I first saw the Lonely the Brave listed on the sub89 website I had no idea who they were. But after listening to some tracks online, I decided I had to see them live and I wasn't disappointed. I'm now a confirmed fan and I even surprised myself by loving Swedish Death Candy who came on first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Han95 from Go see them!! Lonely the Brave are amazing, they made a small crowd and venue feel packed, atmosphere was great, set was great and they were all really nice when we met them afterwards! If you get the chance, go see them before tickets get expensive!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheffield Si from Epic sound with that yearning Voice... Not the best of sound mixes squeezed into the smallest gig venue in the university but still epic, new material seems just as strong as the old. Powerful emotive stuff. Just wished they'd played a little longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Robbo091 from Brilliant performance in a small venue at the Cavern, great sound. Second time I've seen Lonely The Brave in Exeter, first was a t a bigger venue, but this was equally as good. A very intimate performance with the audience so close.
