Rated 4 out of 5 by dragonlady from Lovely venue I went to this event with friends and had a lovely day out. The buggy ride was great for those of us with walking problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Missmoss from Marks Hall I have been going to marks hall ever since I was a little girl but never been to the country show. It is a beautiful setting and the show was spread out so you could explore the gardens and woods. The stalls were good and the food was great we definitely will be going again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by tabithapussycat from Misleading event times! Good event but reason why we went was to look at the classic cars - by the time we had been around and shopped at the craft/plant stalls, watched the birds of prey, heavy horses, eaten lunch in the cafe, sat and watched the brass band we decided at about 3.45 to head over to the classic cars - (as alot of the other events were timed) but were annoyed to find that most had pulled away and gone home. !! Thought the show ended at 5pm so I would have expected the exhibitors to have complied with this. It is not as if we got there late - we arrived at 10.20 am!!! Just to add a note the the Birds of prey chap was absolutely brilliant and was really engaging - book him for next year as long as you can guarantee the the exhibitors do not 'pack -up' early we will be along again also the chap selling the icecream was so miserable and not at all a people person!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Morrisminor from Nicely organised in wonderful setting We went as a family. The event was well organised from the car parking to the signage. There was a wide range of stalls though there weren't many classic cars (one of our reasons for going) and we couldn't find the steam engines. However we would probably go again another year - it's lovely to be able to take a picnic and explore the grounds too. We booked online, saving £2/person, which was nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hartsdown from Big Bang First time we have been to The Battle Proms at Burghley. It was very enjoyable, except for the weather which you have to take on trust when booking, unfortunately it was cold and windy. We took chairs and ordered a picnic which we picked up on arrival. The Prom was brilliant but from where we were sitting it was hard to see the horses on Calvary charge and the cannons. Big Screen helped. Fireworks were very good. Easy to get into carpark but took quite a while to exit as there didn't seem anyone directing traffic, it was a free for all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by RJJ from Disappointed It was a "Garden Show" but there weren't many gardening stalls. Only one heavy horse in the heavy horses displ. The "Happy Hens" looked very unhappy due to the heat and how their cages were balanced on the tables.
