Rated 1 out of 5 by from RHS washout at Chatsworth This was a flower show that traded solely on it's beautiful location and the publicity from Gardeners' World. There was hardly any comparison with the far superior Malvern Show. Visitors needs were not met in terms of seating and cover. It was mainly a craft show. I felt it was very poor value for money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Early days Went with grandchildren. Very muddy everywhere. There were too many eating places and not nearly enough gardens to view. Things for children to make in outside classroom were overly simplistic and not engaging enough added to which adults were occupying most of the seats!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A wonderful day! We went with 2 friends on the Friday and luckily had chosen the best day weather wise. We had booked lunch in the Seafood Restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was well organised - plenty of food and drink places and a good variety, plenty of toilets so no need to queue and a shuttle at the end of the day to take you to the car when you can't stagger anymore! In fact we were there early and still didn't have time to go to the theatre or ask questions. It was a lot of fun and we came away with unusual plants. My only critiscism was that it needed a lot more bark chippings in some really muddy places and I hope they were put down for the Saturday.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved the new show and location I went to this event very excited and had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Plenty of room and lots to see. Everything was well positioned. The only down side was the long walk from the car park and the very very long queue that was badly organised to get in. For older people all the messing to get to the gates was too much and not enough to buses to get people to the car parks after that needs to be reviewed. Other than that I would recommend to any flower show lover

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great event for what was a wet week on June The flower show was excellent with so much variety. There was clearly a lot of effort put into planning this event and all came together beautifully. I would have liked to see more themed gardens as those at the show really did capture my imagination. The arrangement ms for car parking were good especially when you think how many people where there. Well done Chatsworth and the RHS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful gardens - in spite of the challenging weather! I liked that you could walk round each garden and take in the different perspectives. It was great to see local producers and traditions so well rrepresented too. Such a shame for everyone (RHS, exhibitors and visitors) that the weather had such an impact on the show.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shame about the weather! This was the first RHS event we had attended, having only previously seen them on TV. We followed advice given after the first day and arrived a little later - about 11.30 - and were able to enter and park easily. A fair walk to the show ground but no problem and no queuing to get in. However, whether it was the weather which was quite wet, or whether it is the norm at these events, we then spent two hours shuffling around trying to see the exhibits. Shuffling is a fair description as it was impossible to walk normally in the floral marquees or the inflatable dome due to the huge number of slow moving people. It would have been impossible to buy anything as you couldn't get near enough to see. The show gardens were also difficult to get near for a proportion- you actually get a much better view on TV! After exploring the show area we could not find anywhere to sit as grass was waterlogged and any seats around the food vendors were filled with elderly people, apparently parked for the duration! There didn't seem to be any other seating for the many visitors. We felt as if we had gone to an extremely expensive garden centre! Prices were high for everything, even a simple cup of tea, and it was very crowded. Perhaps if the weather had been better crowds would have spread out onto the grass rather than congregating in the tents in the dry! There were plentiful, high quality toilets which was welcome!
