Rated 5 out of 5 by Al and Millie from He's a genius. I'm a 39 year old Dad and my daughter is 12. We both love Scott ' s music, from The Rush to Ballerina lake. This was the fourth time we've been to see him and, again, it was an evening of beautiful songs delivered with the most touching of voices. You really have to see Scott live to appreciate his talent, but at home on the stereo is still a worthy substitute. Great venue too !

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nicko77 from Possibly the best gig I've ever attended. Have seen Scott before because I've been a fan since the first album, however he now has more fans because I took friends..! I was slightly disappointed at first because Scott was on his own - but I should not have worried! His ability to create wonderful sound with just his voice and guitar simply cannot be not overlooked, and the church acoustics and tiny crowd made for an ambience I'm not sure can ever be equalled. Thanks so much Scott! Looking forward very much to seeing you again next year!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Elslins from A dream come true Although my husband and I have followed Scott for the past 10 years, this is the first opportunity we've had to see him play live. Surrounded by ambient lighting, impressive stained glass windows and attractive architecture, his beautiful, haunting and emotive music was superbly performed in the most intimate of settings, with the acoustics allowing Scott's impressive vocals to be elevated to a higher level. Being such a small venue, his music reached out to allow everyone to feel personally involved. It was like having Scott playing in your lounge! The audience were invited to bring their own wine or beer, with additional refreshments available including freshly home made cakes. This certainly helped to create a chilled vibe. The opportunity to chat to Scott over a cup of tea was an added bonus. This concert was a reminder of how less is more- the intimate atmosphere enhanced the listening experience and resulted in a wonderful night to remember.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Crafty Little Sew and Sew from My favourite event of the year The Gloucester event was the second Scott Matthews gig I've been to. There was a fantastic mix of new material and old favourites. Scott was on fine form and engages the audience both with the quality of his music and his relationship with the audience. The band were absolute quality and did justice to all of the songs. I'll definitely be booking tickets for his next tour.
