Rated 4 out of 5 by Souvlaki from Great band Brilliant gig, always wanted too see these guys play live and they did not disappoint, pity about the venue I would have preferred seating as I have now hit the big 50

Rated 4 out of 5 by Albatross from Good Reverberations! Only got into Slowdive relatively recently but the new album compares very well with older songs and this came through during the concert as the newer tracks were better live. The venue was OK but sight lines were not that good due to the low ceiling and the aircon was not switched on until after the 'warm up' act. Ulrika Spacek were good as usual despite some technical problems with a guitar although the 30 minute set does not do them justice. Between the two acts we had an evening of fuzzy reverberations so a very good pairing of the acts - one old making a comeback and the other a new entrant. Staff were friendly and helpful and not over officious in any way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Carrzinho from Seminal shoe gazers continue to enthral. Such a thrill to see a long loved band to be able to see (some) of Just For A Day performed and a promise of new music. The Art School, Glasgow provides the tight kind of venue in keeping with their first forays of youth. The sound was excellent, and LOUD as this genre normally is. The wide demographic of the crowd rightly fawned with nostalgia and/or wonder enraptured my the dreamy tones that set upon their ears. Tighter than they'd any right to be with such a pause from gigging Slowdive changed the gears the material required effortlessly between the heavier elements of Just For A Day and the more ambient Pygmalion. Their classics obviously went down a treat but such is the quality of their new material there were no lulls in the event. Finally being all-round decent sorts they stayed back after to meet and greet their fans. Genuinely bursting to see them live again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Radio111 from Rachel Goswell be ma maw x I went with a couple friends. Slowdive were a thing before I was even born. I listen to them regularly and over all finally seeing them after 5 or so years of listening to them it sent goosebumps up and down me when I physically seen them play live.
