Sorry there are no shows for SLYDIGS right now.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark_c from Brilliant band let down by shocking turnout I last saw this band when they are supporting the who on the who meets 50 tour at the o2, loved the set, naturally bought the ep on the day. When I saw they were playing local to me, well local to where I was staying on holiday.... I'm currently on a three week gig holiday......Anyway I had to go. The Boilerroom in Guildford is a cool little venue it should have been packed...... It wasn't... there was 20 people there most of which were either the bands supporting each other or a handful genuine punters, one of which I'm sure I saw at viking fest in ebbw vale a couple of days earlier, I salute you Madam....I felt so sorry for all the bands performing, in the case of the first support act to 4 people, how demoralising.... You could lipread the disgust from the guitarist at the end of the set. The second act the dirty thrills performed admirably with their high energy rock n roll, seen them a few times and they are getting better. Slydigs came on to the small crowd and belted out a brilliant set of catchy well constructed songs with the stage presence of a band that's been around for years. Well done guys, it was however a shocking turnout. I go to gigs for the whole experience and support acts are the most important things they are the bands you are going to listen to in the future. Without seeing the who, I wouldn't have got to see the slydigs, get out and support your local music venues, in this evidence they really need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jenks7 from Slydigs first gig of the 2017 tour- Manchester deaf institute The only thing that is stopping this band from becoming the biggest band to emanate from the UK in the last 19 years- is quite simply 'oxygen'!!! I.e. AirPlay on main stream on main stream radio. So come on all you Dj's. Cop on!! Quite simply, they are the most charismatic live rock n roll band in Europe It's no coincidence that there were 50m + queues at every merchandise stand in Canada and America- clamouring for memorabilia. The songs are varied and well crafted pure english rock n roll that has not been seen since the likes of Peter green and the Cream & Clapton. The performance cranked up from the first song right until the 'love that keeps on giving' finale It is a sign of class songs when the whole room is bouncing and singing along to the music. If the english radio stations played this bands music for one week- the word would be out- well and truly!!! Awesome performance They are simply brilliant

Rated 5 out of 5 by Keighley from Modern rock At Rebellion in Manchester, 21 January 2017, we had a brilliant night of great music.Lead singer Dean Fairhurst has a cracking sound, Louis Menguy Lead guitarist and songwriter provides brilliant sound- he brought his brand new guitar to the show.Bass player Ben Breslin is amazing to keep the crowd entertained both with his sound, as well as his singing and getting the crowd going.Drummer Pere Fleming had his twinkly lights offsetting his power-house drumming-amazing strength! Ryan Breslin joined them for keyboards and acoustic on a couple of songs.A fantastic sound coming from this exciting band, and we get a brand new Ep out in May.Look out for the new single on Friday 7th April- How Animal Are You!
