Anti Nowhere League
The Anti Nowhere League set out on the road in 1980 to prove they could be the worst band on god's earth loud, violent, obnoxious yobbo’s with one mission.. To get banned from every TV show, radio station and newspapers possible.. They were hated by the general public as well as 'real' musicians who thought they were a disgrace to the music business (and of course the fact they were pulling more people in their live than they were).. With numerous encounters with the police and the authorities they have continued to play and release new material away from public eye. In this day and age it does not seem quite as big a deal as it was back then when they stood alone now a few of the 'real' bands have taken up the 'flag' to be original with attitude.. Long may independent bands continue keeping music live and real.. Long live the League!

THE OBNOXIOUS UK
With the line-upfinally stable the band started gigging in 2006 on the local scene as a three piece:
kimbo – Guitar lead vocals
Jacko – Bass backing vocals
Fez – Drums
  
By 2008 a debut CD had been recorded and released. The band enjoyed going round the UK supporting such bands like GBH, SUBHUMANS, DISCHARGE,  PETER AND THE TEST TUBE BABIES, various PUNK PICNICS and would go to anywhere anytime to play if there were people who wanted to see a show.

This has been the ethos of the band since it started to be the best it can be and to entertain.

Late 2011 the band added Bri on lead guitar to add even more depth to the sound.

Recording of the second CD is planned for April 2012.

The band is currently in negotiations with a Management group which could lead to Record label involvement and solid plans have been made to go overseas to play shows
