Rated 4 out of 5 by Halestwit from Fantastic band in a fantastic venue I've seen Joy Formidable 3 times in 3 different Countries. They have improved each time they really are a top live band. Their the First band Me and my Girlfriend went to see together so we have a real fondness for them. I really hope Joy Formidable are touring again soon because we wouldn't think twice before getting tickets to see them again. I really think they are growing as a bans the song from the next Album were fantastic I would even say maybe my favourite songs of the night. I will definitely be buying that album when it comes out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by benhhhhh from Great night! Great Band! Had been waiting for this band to tour for a very long time. Was great they visited Newcastle! I've seen many live bands and artists throughout the years and The Joy Formidable were honestly the best! So much energy and passion goes into their performances. The whole set was amazing and the acoustic part within the crowd topped it! Think Tank isn't the best venue and the sound wasn't the best, most probably due to size, but that is no fault of the bands. 10/10 to these guys they really do put all their efforts into music!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Seanyboy from An evening of Joy I went along to the gig with my wife who I fully expected not to like it, but hey someone had to drive! Ritzy, Rhydian and Matt put on a brilliant show for us, the new and the old stuff was superb. The venue was intimate so we were close to the band and the bar! I think my wife was quite taken with Rhydian judging by the number of photos she took - we are now both looking forward to experiencing "The Joy" again soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lynn joy from Another rocking gig...Joy Formidable the rainbow Birmingham From the minute these 3 hit the stage to the moment they walked off this was pure rock n roll. This was buy the 2nd time seeiNg199fd them live and I was just as blown away as the first time. Sheer power in the way Ritzy plays guitar and you can see the passion all over her face. Rhydians bass is powerful and his voice is good and such a compliment with Ritzy's. WOW and the bang of those drumsites. Michael is a free to be reckoned with. Every bang and crash is electric and so loud. Or of the loudest bands and the most fun. The banter is excellent and they really make you feel a part of the show and that they are thrilled to bits you are there. This venue was tiny no more than 250 people I think and yet it felt even more intimate.when they came I to the crowd to sing an acoustic song everyone was cool and just listened. It was such a treat. Love this band and can't to for the new album and more gigs. Totally rocked

Rated 5 out of 5 by Phil J from As amazing as ever!!! What can I say..... The Joy Formidable never cease to amaze! From start to finish they show pure energy and personality on stage, along with fantastic tracks and engaging the crowd, one of the best live acts I've ever had the pleasure to see. This was the 3rd time I've seen the band, always in Manchester, and definitely wont be the last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Roykenyon from Power house performance !! The Ifor Bach Club was a top venue for The Joy Formidable probably Wales brightest gem. They exuded good old fashioned 'presence' and produced a high octane performance. We thoroughly enjoyed the banter with the audience (us) and went away with a 'feel good factor' and the end of the concert !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Albatross from Energetic as usual Venue OK - unusual backdrop against the gasometers of Hackney and after initially struggling against the guitars and drums Ritzy's vocals came though. Always lively and engaging TJF did not disappoint and rewarded fans with songs across all albums (sadly no Heavy Abacus though).
