Rated 5 out of 5 by AlexT from The Orb are still on the ball Cracking. Played a set of tracks from Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld and others and then a second mix of best tracks from the catalogue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mrdalliard from My favourite gig, since my last Orb gig 25 years ago. It wasn't the longest of gigs, with two sets at just over an hour a piece, but that didn't matter whatsoever when they put together two hours of quality mixes. The first hour was a bit like listening to the Orb's 'Ultraworld" in reverse, starting with Spanish Castles in Space and Little Fluffy Clouds near the end. The second hour was more mixed, taking tracks from COW, Moonbuilding and some of their older work. Even as a diehard Orb fan I have to confess there were some tracks I didn't recognise! The atmosphere was friendly, the venue large-but-not-too-large at about 400-ish people and it was obvious that Alex and Thomas were enjoying what they were doing. Only minor niggle was that there was no encore, but I suspect that was because there was another event booked in the same venue immediately afterwards, but it was still an excellent night - and I shan't be waiting another 25 years to see them live again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Big P from Very lazy I went expecting to see a great show with a bit of nostalgia thrown in. What I experienced was really disappointing. All it was was a preprogrammed laptop session with a guy attempting to dj and drop samples over the top of it. It never really built up and the DJing was clomping and fairly amateur. The only visuals was a single projection which was hit and miss. having seen them at Glastonbury and other venues many years ago it seemed the only thing they had was volume and bass strength. Left early with several lthers

Rated 4 out of 5 by Oceanauk from Good night Went with friends, gig was in two parts, the second half being far more dance based...a bit choppy in places, just when you got into a dance groove, the beat stopped abruptly and it was ambient sound again. The only thing that frustrated me more was the poor sound system... It just couldn't handle the Orb's bass!!! Their music has lots of subtle nuances which was lost due to poor sound. But, I still enjoyed a nostalgic trip down The Orb memory lane.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wingnut Charlie from Perfect gig for old-skool ravers Alex and Thomas treated us to a beefed up dance set of old classics and brand new tracks all set against the backdrop of Norwich's riverside. A surprisingly mixed crowd of youngsters from Uni rubbed shoulders with long-toothed 40somethings in a chilled atmosphere with a great sound system.
