What people are saying about The Proclaimers
Rated 3 out of 5 by amacca from Volume! We were so looking forward to this. We have been Proclaimers Fans for many years and it was the first time we had had the chance to see them. Their performance was great but so spoilt by the volume which was too loud to hear clearly. So much so that that there was a continual slight feedback on the vocal mike. We had purchased the new CD as part of this package and on our way home in the car we were then able to recognise what had been sung. Not the first time we have had this volume problem at concerts. Starting to think that Sound Engineers are all deaf. There comes a point where the volume level just makes it too hard to hear clearly. Are we alone in thinking this?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kazzor from Toe tapping singalong gig Fabulous gig from The Proclaimers and gang. The whole theatre was standing singing and dancing. Fantastic feel good music. Also Tom Varely was a brilliant warm up act - will look out for him.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Helenaday from Best gig for a long time. Ive always been a fan of the Proclaimers but only knew songs that had previously been in the charts. I was impressed and surprised at the amount of material they have and thoroughly enjoyed listening to a variety of really good songs. I felt that the concert was good quality entertainment with no time wasting long musical interludes or distractions such as dance routines. the venue was excellent although not full and therefore lacked a bit of 'intimacy' which us the only critisism that I have. Also really good supporting band.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Katster from One of those amazing evenings! I went with my sister to see The Proclaimers , for the third time. Probably the best so far! They never disappoint, the enthusiasm, talent, and "brotherly " harmonising make for a brilliant gig. They mixed old favourites with songs from their fantastic, latest album, Let's hear it for the dogs.definitely a night to remember! If you get the chance to see them live, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by El Presidente from Awesome band, great venue Everyone knows at least one Proclaimers song, but I think you will be surprised just how many others you know. The boys (and band) did not disappoint, they played a sensitive mix of new, old and classics. (Some bands shy away from playing the "one" song they are known for, but the Proclaimers played 500 miles with real gusto and they appeared to appreciate the audience participation). What I really enjoyed were the brothers augmented harmonies, one high one low, one sweet one aggressive. The band are fantastic musicians, with the guy on drums giving a real visual show. Again they all gave the impression of enjoying what they were doing, which always helps. As for the venue, well it was top class. It holds 600 people or so and was around 95% full. The view for all 600 was un-obscured and the sound quality was excellent. All in all we had a brilliant night and are delighted to finally tick the Proclaimers from our bucket list. Would I go see them again? 100% YES
