Rated 5 out of 5 by from Selecter on fine form in Falmouth A fantastic show made even better by a good chat with Pauline before the show. They always perform to a high standard and give their all. I was bouncing all night long and couldn't wait to see them again in Plymouth

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cracking night out if you like SKA The venue was absolutely packed which just made the atmosphere that much better. Everyone was there to have a good time and the band did not disappoint. Boy can they play and sing, if you like SKA you have to go and see The SELECTER!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from rolling back the years Where to start, there were Mods, there were skinheads (most involuntary) there were rude boys and rude girls. There were loafers cherry red DMs and black and white winkle pickers. There were turrned up jeans mixed with sharp suits, Harrington jackets and button down shirts with pencil ties. There were Fred Perry polos and white tees. I suspect a few tonic suits were placed back in lofts as waist lines beat the ambitions of the owner who bought them in their teens. Trilbys and pork pie hats covered the grey hair of the 50 year old+ audience thrilled to see The Selecter on Thursday night in a FE college in Barnstaple. The Selecter smashed out the new songs, wowed us with the hits and had us singing and dancing to the SKA classics until the arthritic knees and hips could take no more. Petroc college would do well to put on more gigs for ole gits, The Selecter would be welcome back to North Devon any time to deliver such a professional, polished and crafted performance such as thwe witnessed this night, and the whipper snappers ie those under 40 should come and listen and learn. Please more

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just fab! Experienced a snippet of the Selecter before at Butlins so it was good to see them play a whole set. Very energetic and entertaining, thoroughly enjoyed it. Pauline Black only looks about thirty!
