Rated 5 out of 5 by from Raw talent at its best! The most exciting band I have seen for years! Their sound is great. The thing I really love about them is they sound the same live as recorded. I saw them in Brighton & got to meet them such friendly lads.So talented, They will be big one soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a must see band I took my 15yo daughter to see the Spitfires at the Brighton gig, they exceeded our expectations. a great live band full of energy and attitude. their new songs are instantly likeable. bring on the new album do not pigeon hole this band, they have their own sound and are quickly evolving into on of the best bands to see live.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT mod music The venue didn't help, but the singer was incoherent and inaudible. NOT a mod bank. Overrated punks!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Spitfires smash it in Liverpool Arriving at a dark musty smelling venue to be greeted by a wall of musical genius that is The Spitfires. Some in my group had never been to a gig before for some it had been so long they still thought The Beatles played in Liverpool and if they were still around and playing they'd of had to support Billy and the rest of the lads who make up this amazingly tight knit group. I've had the pleasure to see these boys all over the country but if I'm honest they have never been better than last night in Liverpool, the venue was compact the staging was tight but the crowd were off the scale, young and old giving it the full beans in the mosh pit. The crowd were that close they were almost in the band and as Billy finished each song a handshake became the requisite with every more energised front row. Track after track delivered with such musical quality that stardom must soon come calling for these lads. They played tracks from both of their albums and came back on to do a number of encores, extra value indeed.
