The Stone Roses Tickets
Rated 5 out of 5 by Greg1982 from When a band comes home I took my girlfriend to this for her birthday as we both missed them at Heaton and Finsbury Parks. On arrive to the Etihad the stadium looked magnificent and from the moment we stepped foot on the pitch there was tension in the atmosphere as these people of Manchester were waiting for THEIR band to come home once again!, As The Stone Roses took to the stage with I Wanna Be Adored the whole crowd or what felt like the whole of Manchester went berserk, it was totally electrifying and I had goosebumps everywhere. The boys were on top form as well serenading the fans with hit after hit, anthem after anthem. John Squire particularly enjoying himself with a rare grin and the ever present camaraderie of Reni and Mani is such a beautiful sight when in full flow. Even Brown's vocal which are usual hit or miss were note perfect and his swagger impeccable with even a shout out to David Beckham who was in the crowd. All in all this was the only gig I've been to in my life where you can tell this band belong to this city! Love you The Stone Roses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Glossfella from A night to remember The day could not have gone much better in terms of pre-event atmosphere and the logistics of getting to the venue which was superb. Even the torrential rain did not dampen spirits and actually added the fun as people drank, sang and danced in their ponchos without a care in the world other than the music. Slight issue with the bar situation, but isn’t there always. Courteeners provided excellent support and are certainly a British heavy weight these days. People criticise Ian Brown’s voice and singing but I personally think he has a very unique voice and does anyone have better stage presence? Sir Ian grew into the performance and with band mates John Squire, Mani and Reni on absolute top form and top tune after top tune being belted out it was certainly a performance and a night to remember. My personal highlights were Fools Gold, Love Spreads, Fools Gold, She Bangs the Drums, Made of Stone and Waterfall, which had me close to tears remembering my late sister-in-law who loved that song. The brilliant night ends as always with I Am the Resurrection and when the band hugged and embraced at the end of the show I felt the moment with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gordon Waring from The Stone Roses live at The Etihad Stadium Manchester 15/June/2016. Absolutely amazing. All the support bands was great Blossoms, Chronixx and the mighty Public Enemy. The Stone Roses themselves where top of their game and played a fantastic set from start to finish including the new single All For One that went down a storm with the fans. Carn't wait for when the band next tour and hopefully there will be a new album.

Rated 4 out of 5 by simony from Great to hear Stone Roses live ! took my wife to see the group who in my view had the best debut album ever and they did not let us down. Strange choice of backing bands - good set from Courteeners but not quite sure about Public enemy !. The roses musically were awesome -Squires and Reni are simply awesome and so so underated. Brown's vocals slightly flat ut no matter. given they have had only 2 studio albums they are a phenomena that no other band can live with. The audience had a very wide age range showing how legendary this band is - I only wish this was concert was at Old Trafford and not the Council House given they are like me Reds !
